One-to-One French Immersion Courses in Brittany

At the Domaine des Sources, your French lessons are part of a complete immersion experience. You study with Céline, an experienced French teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience, and continue using French naturally throughout the day — over meals, during activities, on excursions and in everyday conversation.
Whether you want to become more confident speaking, improve your comprehension, strengthen your grammar and writing, or prepare for a personal or professional goal, your lessons are adapted to your level, your pace and your objectives.

Lessons are personalised rather than based on a fixed classroom programme. Depending on your needs, you will work on speaking, listening, reading and writing, with the time and attention that individual tuition makes possible.

French beyond the classroom
Immersion does not stop when the lesson ends. Real-life situations become opportunities to practise: shopping, cooking, walking in the park, looking after the animals, sharing meals or simply talking about the day. The aim is not only to know more French, but to become more comfortable using it spontaneously.
Choose the intensity of your stay
Current language-study packages are available with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours of French lessons . Each package can be combined with the accommodation, meals, activities and excursions offered at the Domaine des Sources. See the rates page for the current options and prices.
- 5 hours — a light programme with plenty of time to explore Brittany
- 10 hours — a balanced combination of structured lessons and daily immersion
- 15 or 20 hours — a more intensive programme for faster progress
- 25 or 30 hours – a very intensive programme for the brave
(For one-week stays, it is recommended that you do not exceed 15 or 20 hours of lessons)
Learn French in real life
A homestay creates something a conventional language course cannot reproduce: French remains around you after class. You hear it at breakfast, use it to ask a question, understand a joke, take part in an activity or talk about something that happened during the day. That repeated, meaningful contact with the language is where confidence grows.
Your stay at the Domaine des Sources
Your immersion takes place in the Brittany countryside near Lorient, in a peaceful estate with animals, a lake and leisure facilities. The setting gives you space to learn, practise and relax while discovering everyday French life and the culture of Brittany.
